Alexander “Alex” Alvarado, 27, was a beloved son, big brother, nephew, and friend whose beautiful spirit left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The son of Claudia Balderrama and the late Keith Alvarado, Alex was gentle and humble, with a kind heart and the soul of a true gentleman. He could be shy and quiet, but beneath that quiet nature lived someone incredibly funny, outgoing, and full of life, with a contagious smile that could light up any room. His presence had a way of making ordinary moments feel a little more special. Alex was a free spirit with an adventurous soul.

Alex was a cherished big brother to Aidan and Israel Alvarado, a deeply loved nephew and friend, and the proud dog dad of his sweet Chico. To know Alex was to know someone whose heart, humor, and spirit stayed with you. The tremendous love surrounding him is a reflection of the many lives he touched simply by being who he was.

We will carry the ache of missing him, but we will also carry the incredible privilege of having known him, loved him, laughed with him, and called him ours. Alex’s story does not end here. It continues in his mother, his brothers, his family, his friends, and in every heart that carries a piece of him forward. If love alone could have kept Alex here, he would have lived forever.

Until we meet again, our sweet Alex. Go freely, go peacefully, and know that you were loved beyond words in this life, and you will be loved beyond it.
