It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lucas Rios on Friday, November 22, 2024. Born in Puerto Rico on December 22, 1964, Lucas was a remarkable man; a beacon of love and strength who touched the lives of everyone that met him.

Lucas was a devoted son, a cherished brother, a loving father, a protective uncle, and a loyal friend. He loved his family, always putting their needs before his own. His love and support were constant in our lives, and his love was a source of strength and comfort.

Despite the challenges he faced, Lucas always approached life with courage and resilience. His legacy is one of love and unwavering support for his family. He leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, but also a legacy that will continue to guide us.

He taught us what it means to be selfless, to be brave, and to face life’s challenges with grace and dignity. His spirit will forever be a part of us, living on in the stories we share and the memories we hold dear.

We will forever cherish the memories we have with him and find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. He leaves behind his loving children, cherished siblings, adored nieces and nephews, and his eagerly awaited grandson.

We are thankful for having him in our lives and for blessing our lives in countless ways.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his presence will always be felt in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, watching over us with that familiar, loving smile.

A memorial service to celebrate Lucas' life will be held on Friday, November 29th, from 3-7 pm, at Martinez Funeral Home, 5804 W. 63rd Street. Interment private.

Con profunda tristeza y dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Lucas Rios el viernes, 22 de Noviembre de 2024. Nacido en Puerto Rico el 22 de Diciembre del 1964, Lucas fue un hombre extraordinario; un faro de amor y fortaleza que tocó las vidas de todos los que lo conocieron.

Lucas fue un hijo devoto, un hermano querido, un padre amoroso, un tío protector y un amigo leal. Amaba a su familia, siempre poniendo sus necesidades antes que las suyas. Su amor y apoyo fueron constantes en nuestras vidas, y su amor fue una fuente de fuerza y consuelo.

A pesar de los desafíos que enfrentó, Lucas siempre abordó la vida con valentía y resiliencia. Su legado es uno de amor y apoyo inquebrantable para su familia. Deja un vacío que no se puede llenar, pero también un legado que continuará guiándonos.

Nos enseñó lo que significa ser desinteresado, ser valiente y enfrentar los desafíos de la vida con gracia y dignidad. Su espíritu será siempre parte de nosotros, viviendo en las historias que compartimos y los recuerdos que atesoramos.

Siempre atesoraremos los recuerdos que tenemos con él y encontraremos consuelo al saber que ahora está en paz. Deja atrás a sus queridos hijos, amados hermanos, adorados sobrinos y sobrinas, y su nieto tan esperado.

Estamos agradecidos por haberlo tenido en nuestras vidas y por bendecir nuestras vidas de innumerables maneras. Aunque ya no camine a nuestro lado, su presencia siempre se sentirá en nuestros corazones. Será profundamente extrañado pero nunca olvidado. Encontramos consuelo al saber que ahora está en paz, vigilándonos con esa sonrisa familiar y amorosa.

Un servicio conmemorativo para celebrar la vida de Lucas se llevará a cabo el viernes, 29 de noviembre, de 3 a 7 pm, en la Funeraria Martinez, 5804 W. 63rd Street. Entierro privado.
