Mary Shampine, age 74. Loving wife of James Arthur Shampine; adored mother of Michelle (Ernesto) Lechuga, Timothy (Gosia) Shampine; devoted grandmother of Timothy James (Melissa) Shampine, Patrick Shampine, Zachary Lechuga, Amelia Lechuga and Ernie "Chiquito" Lechuga; fond sister of John (Judy) Bumbul, Christine Boyte. Also, many nieces and nephews. Visitation Service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. at M. Martinez Funeral Home, 5800 W. 63rd St. Chicago, IL. Funeral Service Monday, December 19, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 6435 South Kilbourn Ave at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
